Vice-captain of the “Ashikaga is Really a Great Place! PR Team,” Takauji-kun is an “eternal mischievous boy” wearing a hat modeled on the school gate of Ashikaga School, known as Japan's oldest school, and the helmet of Ashikaga Takauji, the first seii taishōgun of the Muromachi shogunate. He became vice-captain of the “Ashikaga is Really a Great Place! PR Team,” formed in May 2014, and appears at many events to share Ashikaga City's attractions. His theme song and exercise routine have also been completed, and he is attracting popularity.
