Mibu Toy Museum character, Mirai-chan. Born in 1995, the same year the Mibu Toy Museum opened, he is an eternal 10-year-old boy. Inspired by a thunder deity because Mibu Town experiences much lightning, Mirai-chan can apparently communicate with clouds, wind, and animals and create lightning using the antenna on his head. He is also an official Mibu Town character, so he appears at events to promote not only the Toy Museum but also Mibu Town's appeal.
