Nasuk塩原 City character for promoting increased milk consumption: Miruhī. This girl character was created so that more people would learn that Nasushiobara City ranks first in raw milk production value in Honshu. The letters NS on her belly are the initials of Nasushiobara City, and the city's shape is apparently depicted on her back. Her name comes from the German word for milk, “Milch.” It was apparently chosen as the name “Miruhī” because the city has cultural properties connected with Germany.
