Ikaimon is both a “being” from the “otherworld” and a “gate.” Standing on the boundary between this world and the otherworld, he appears before those who believe in the otherworld and takes the people he meets there. In other words, Ikaimon can appear anywhere in Tono and take people into Tono’s mysterious world! He tries to summon and introduce companions from the otherworld, but people are often frightened by him.
