Tomisato City mascot character Tomi-chan was created in Tomisato City, a famous watermelon-producing area. Tomi-chan is eternally thirteen years old, and its blood type is apparently fruit juice with a sugar content of 11 degrees. Since the Tomisato Watermelon Road Race is held every year in Tomisato City, Tomi-chan wears a marathon outfit and works hard on PR activities by visiting many events so that more people will learn about Tomisato City and its appeal and come to visit.
