Gifu Kinkazan Squirrel Village mascot character Riro-chan. Squirrel Village, located in front of the ropeway's Kinkazan summit station and home to many Taiwan squirrels, is said to be where Japan's first squirrel village opened in Showa 40. Riro-chan is the girl who serves as the village's mascot. While sharing the appeal of Squirrel Village and Kinkazan and outing information on Twitter, she visits Gifu Park, Squirrel Village, and events in various places, especially on holidays, where she interacts with many people.
