Iruma City tourism ambassador Irutii. He is a boy created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Iruma City’s municipal administration. He is modeled on the skylark, the city bird, and wears green kesho-mawashi inspired by Sayama tea, the city’s specialty. Apparently, his dream is to win the Wanpaku Sumo tournament held in Iruma City, which is known as a town of sumo. He appears at many events and works to promote Iruma City. Site: Irutii’s page
