Sanudon, an apprentice character of the Kagawa Prefecture Tourism Association, is an udon fairy whose body is made of Sanuki udon. His distinctive eyebrows are modeled on Mount Iino, known as Sanuki Fuji. He wears an egg hat inspired by kama-tama udon and carries a bowl-shaped pocket called the “Don Pocket” on his back. Apparently able to talk, he appears at events and television programs inside and outside the prefecture and updates his blog and Twitter while promoting udon and working toward becoming an officially recognized character of the tourism association.
