Tokitama, the mascot boy of the Takamatsu Tokiwa-cho Shopping District, is a boy whose official name is Tokiwa Tamakichi and who also serves as a Takamatsu Liveliness Ambassador. As the character of Japan's longest shopping district, he participates in many events and watches over the peace of the town from a shop window.
