World Heritage Hiraizumi PR character Kerohira (けろひら). This character was created with the “Hiraizumi Frog Caricature,” excavated from the Yanaginogosho Site in the town, as its motif. Kerohira began activities in June 2014, promoting Hiraizumi at many events and appearing on stamps. In June 2015, Kerohira became publicity director to pursue further activity. Kerohira works hard to help more people learn about and visit the World Heritage town of Hiraizumi.
