Asahi Town yuru character Jampun. Asahi Town has a ski-jump hill that can be used year-round regardless of the season, and ski-jump competitions are held in summer. Jampun is a fairy of the ski-jumping world, unveiled in July 2014 by members of the Asahi Town Chamber of Commerce Youth Division to further enliven the town. Jampun can not only ski but apparently dance as well, and participates in various events inside and outside the town to support Asahi Town.
