Toyohama Chamber of Commerce Youth Division character Matsuri Tainosuke. He is a boy who promotes the Tai Festival, held every July in the Toyoyama area. His hat is inspired by the large sea-bream mikoshi that appears at the festival, and he wears a happi coat made from large fishing flags. He appears on television and at events to promote the Tai Festival and encourage more people to visit Toyohama and the festival.
