Nikki (Odawara City)

Odawara Nishiki-dori Shopping Street character, Nikki. Created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Odawara Nishiki-dori Shopping Street Cooperative Association, Nikki was born from a lost item in the shopping street and expresses the “N” of Nishiki-dori with her ears. She was also issued a special resident certificate by Odawara City, and April 21 is apparently recognized by the Japan Anniversary Association as Nishiki-dori and Nikki Day. While sharing information about shops on Nishiki-dori on Twitter, she appears at events in Kanagawa Prefecture and at the shopping street.
