Iwasaki Castle mascot Niwasaki-kun was named by combining “Iwasaki,” from Iwasaki Castle, and “Niwa,” the name of its lord. Iwasaki Castle has three mascot characters, but Niwasaki-kun appears at events in place of Kansuke-kun, who cannot leave the castle, and works hard to promote Iwasaki Castle.
