Misato Town mascot, Misabō. Because the town has a specialty product called “yamakujira” made with boar meat, he is a two-month-old male wild boar piglet with boar as his motif and whale-patterned trousers. His name was selected from submitted works. He wears a hat depicting the mountains of Misato Town, the largest river in the Chūgoku region, the Gō River, and a bridge. Since Misato Town is in the center of Shimane Prefecture, the golden patch on Misabō's navel bears the city emblem. He works hard to express the town's appeal with his whole body and promote it!
