Utsunomiya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Women’s Division character Sho-chan was created to broadly promote the chamber and Utsunomiya City in commemoration of the chamber’s 120th anniversary. She was named Sho-chan after the “sho” in shoko kaigisho, meaning chamber of commerce and industry. Carrying local specialties and famous products such as strawberries and station bento, she promotes Utsunomiya City!
