Toei Town tourism ambassador Onistar. Onistar is modeled on the demon who appears as the main figure in the Hana Matsuri, designated as an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Japan and passed down since the Kamakura period. Toei Town is also a town of starry skies, which led to the name “Onistar.” Onistar has promoted the Hana Matsuri and Toei Town as a tourism ambassador since April 2011.
