Yamanaka Onsen character, Owan-san. In Yamanaka Onsen, the young proprietors of inns are called “oansan,” so the character was born with the name Owan-san. His bowl-shaped head made of Yamanaka lacquerware is his distinctive feature, and he appears at events while promoting Yamanaka Onsen.
