Nyanpachi is Hachirogata Town's hospitality section chief. This cat character loves the town's traditional folk performance Gannin Odori. Nyanpachi was created through a public solicitation in October 2013 and appointed hospitality section chief in December 2013, receiving an official appointment letter. Nyanpachi appears at many events inside and outside the prefecture, including performing Gannin Odori at an event in Tokyo, to promote Hachirogata Town's attractions.
