Ogawa Town Tanabata Festival image character, Sutam-chan. To promote and enliven the Ogawa Town Tanabata Festival, which has continued since 1949, she debuted in Heisei 18 after being selected from submitted designs as the “lucky angel who descended from the Milky Way,” based on Tanabata and tanzaku strips. She appears at events in various places not only for the Tanabata Festival but also to bring more energy to Ogawa Town and Saitama Prefecture.
