All Japan Daruma Research Association official character Yamada Ruma. Yamada Ruma loved daruma so much that she became one. In 2010, she was appointed the official character of the All Japan Daruma Research Association. To “make everyone love daruma,” she appears at and rushes to many events, introducing gourmet food at event venues and places she visits while remaining active.
