Kamigyō Ward mascot character Kamigyū-kun. Kamigyū-kun is a character created in Heisei 21 (2009) with a cow as his motif to commemorate the 130th anniversary of the ward's establishment. His favorite food is “delicious things,” while his least favorite food is beef. Apparently, he worries about his short legs, but he goes out to many places, including festivals and events, to promote Kamigyō Ward's attractions.
