Tawawa-chan, the Kyoto Tower Mascot Character, was born from the gentle light of Kyoto Tower, inspired by “a lighthouse illuminating the landlocked city of Kyoto.” She watches over everyone from the observation room and appears and plays an active role at Kyoto Tower events.
