Shibushi City's local yuru character. Shibushi Shishimaru was born with the passionate aspiration, “I want to become a strong and dependable man!” He is a samurai character of the shishi, or lion, and wears a helmet bearing the city emblem. Together with his aide Tōnsuke, he appears at events to promote and energize Shibushi City.
