SL Ban'etsu Monogatari promotional characters. Okojirou and Okomi promote the SL Ban'etsu Monogatari train running between Niigata Station and Aizuwakamatsu Station. Modeled on stoats, Okojirou is a boy born in 1999 and Okomi is a girl born in 2002. The waiting room on the platform at Tsugawa Station, where the SL stops, was transformed into Okojirou's home. Okojirou and Okomi later happily married, and from now on the two will appear together at events and welcome and see off the SL.
