Osen-chan and Bonkichi of Senbon Shopping District, Suzak Ōji no Machi, came to the present day across time from the Heian period. They now live at the site of the former Daigokuden near Senbon-Marutamachi and defeat the yokai hiding in the neighborhood. Osen-chan is an energetic girl who loves shopping and often visits the shopping district. Her favorite words are discounts and bargains. Bonkichi is a mischievous hedgehog boy of the Senbon mouse species. His special skill is "shooting the needles of happiness," which is said to bring happiness when they hit a human?
