Yamada Town Yuru-chara Production Executive Committee: Yamada o Motto Moriagetai. Yamada-chan (left) was created based on oysters and scallops, the town's specialties; Matsushii (center) on shiitake and matsutake mushrooms; and Take-chan (right) on the town's specialty shiitake mushrooms. They share town information on Facebook and elsewhere and appear at events inside and outside the prefecture to promote Yamada Town's appeal nationwide.
