Shinjuku Bathhouse Association character Yugejī is a cozy character said to have been born from steam gathered from the sento bathhouses in Shinjuku Ward. Yugejī's body is apparently shaped like Shinjuku Ward. While taking part in the Yugejī Festival, a stamp rally visiting bathhouses in the ward, and in events in the ward, Yugejī promotes the appeal of sento bathhouses.
