Inabars are characters promoting the Inaba region. They were created to help liven up the 2009 Tottori-Inaba Festival. After the event ended, they became “not-yuru” mascot characters promoting the Inaba region. Nashita is based on Nijuisseiki pears and shiitake mushrooms, and weighs the equivalent of 210 pears. Kanīra is based on Matsuba crab and sand dune rakkyo, and weighs the equivalent of 70 Matsuba crabs. They are active while sharing information about events and the town within the prefecture!
