Oshinari Shopping Street image character Oshinari-kun. Oshinari-kun is a boy born after being selected from submitted designs to revitalize the Oshiage and Narihira Bridge area. Modeled on the Heian-period poet Ariwara no Narihira, he wears a Sky Tree eboshi hat. While walking around Oshinari Shopping Street, he participates in events across Japan and shares information about the shopping street and neighborhood.
