Zaō Town's tourism promotion character, Zaō-sama, is a king who lived quietly deep in the forests of Zaō. Because he was shy, he lived quietly in the forest, but he came out to exercise and now visits events inside and outside the town to promote Zaō Town. When he gets hungry, he apparently eats fruit growing on the staff he carries.
