Ryugasaki City official mascot character Mairyu. This boy was created with the city’s traditional Tsuk舞 (Tsukumai) event and Ryugasaki’s dragon as his motifs. He is currently training to become the male dancer in Tsukumai. With his heart-shaped nose as a distinguishing feature, he promotes Ryugasaki City’s attractions nationwide, appearing not only at events but also on various goods.
