Hatsu-hime was created with the motifs of being well-informed and quick-witted, yet more easygoing than her other sisters. She was the second daughter of Nagamasa Azai, lord of Odani Castle, and Oichi, and later changed her name to Joko-in. The Three Azai Sisters—Princess Chacha, Hatsu-hime, and Princess Go—are working hard to promote Odani Castle.
