Misotarou was born in Taketo Town, a town of brewing, with a miso barrel as his motif. He wears the town flower, sasanqua, has a local specialty red-miso barrel shaped like a head, and carries tamari at his waist. Dressed as Urashima Taro from the legend, he energetically promotes the town.
