Desukamo was captured while separated from its mother duck on the Tsurumi River near the Big Japan Pro-Wrestling dojo in Tsuzuki Ward, Yokohama. Frank Atsushi took the duck to the dojo intending to make chanko, but everyone at the dojo came to its rescue, and it reportedly volunteered to join the organization.
