Nice to meet you! I'm Salvian, the official mascot of the Machida City Shopping Association Federation, born from salvia, the “city flower” of Machida City, Tokyo! Usually easygoing, but whenever Salvian finds delicious-looking food from Machida or lively shopping streets, the salvia flower on the head suddenly bursts into full bloom! Friends in Machida include Hasunon, the city's eco-character; Zelvy of FC Machida Zelvia, active in the professional soccer J1 League; and DOLA of the professional futsal club ASV PESCADOLA MACHIDA. At events in Machida City, they often take commemorative photos together, both taking and posing for pictures, while livening up the venue. With the passionate wishes “Shop in Machida!” and “I want to be a hub connecting people with people and shops with the city!” Salvian runs around Machida City every day. This time, Salvian is taking on Yuruverse by Yuru-Chara Grand Prix to deliver the smiles of Machida's 430,000 residents and the excitement of its shopping streets nationwide!
