Maruken was born in 2011 as the image character for the Marunouchi Certification Exam. Since then, he has been loved by many people, and today he is active in various settings as Legare’s main character! Maruken knows not only basic information about Marunouchi, but everything about its history, architecture, business and economics, transportation, environment and urban development, culture, and art. He is a dependable ally of Legare who explains all kinds of things, sometimes using his hobby of disguising himself. When he speaks, he adds “～～maru” at the end!
