Nyappy is the authorized character of the visual-kei rock band Antique-Cafe (Antic Cafe), commonly known as An Cafe. As a staff member of An Cafe, Nyappy works to revitalize beloved Harajuku, the birthplace of the individuality, fashion, and music that define An Cafe, and to bring smiles to Harajuku. From time to time, Nyappy also picks up litter in Harajuku.
