On June 27, 2014, the super eco-ship Tachibana Maru began service on the Izu Seven Islands route, and Captain Tachibana appeared along with it. His creator was Ryohei Yanagihara, the company's honorary captain. Captain Tachibana also appears in various places inside the Tachibana Maru.
