Appy of Ageo City, Saitama Prefecture, whose motif is the shape of the initial “A” in AGEO, and Mayumi-chan of Motomiya City, Fukushima Prefecture, whose motif is the fruit of the Japanese spindle tree, got married in November 2014. On November 5, 2015 (Good Connections Day), their child Ayumi was born. This was the first marriage between municipal characters and the first birth of their child in Japan! Appy and the others, filled with happiness, bring smiles and energy to everyone.
