Kashiwa City-authorized character Saka-Sai-kun was born as the scary-cute character of Kashiwa City's Sakasai Shopping Association. He also became an awareness character for the Kashiwa City Fire Department and conducts PR activities toward realizing “Zero rhino disasters, Kashiwa!!” He is also a special resident of Kashiwa City and appears at various events for Kashiwa City and the Sakasai Shopping Association.
