Ukaru-kun and Mōkaru-kun were born in Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture, the only place in Japan that supplies Japanese cormorants to cormorant-fishing tourist sites nationwide and has a cormorant-capture site. They are the strongest duo: Ukaru-kun has power for passing exams with flying colors, while Mōkaru-kun has power for financial luck.
