Torosuke is the mascot of the Senboku Environmental Improvement Facilities Association. His name comes from Torosuike (取石池), a pond that once existed near the Senboku Clean Center. Torosuke teaches people about waste separation and recycling.

Torosuke is a duck boy named after Torosuike (取石池), a pond said to have once existed in the area where the Senboku Clean Center is located. A duck is also depicted in the center’s logo. Wearing a hat made from plastic bottle caps and an emblem of a local ancient burial mound on his belly, Torosuke works to promote a society that reuses and recycles resources.
