JA Aizu Yotsuba official character Artist Komenarudo is based on Aizu’s specialty rice. The hat is made from tomatoes, the beard from shiitake mushrooms, and the brush from asparagus, along with various vegetables grown in Aizu. Its name is apparently written with the kanji 米成土. While sharing the appeal of Aizu and its agricultural products and information about events on Twitter, it is active in “painting the future of agriculture in Aizu.”
