Tonerin, the image character of the Tone Town Tourism Association, wears a hat decorated with the town tree, cherry blossoms, and the town flower, canna. Tonerin was created to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the town's municipal administration. The blue hat represents the abundant waters of the Tone, Kogai, and Shin-Tone rivers. The clothing buttons feature the area's specialties, asparagus and strawberries, and the ears are made from Koshihikari rice. Tonerin works hard to help more people learn about Tone Town, blessed with abundant nature.
