Kino Kuni Furusato-zukuri mascot character Kinopy. Kinopy is the character of Wakayama Prefecture's Forestry Promotion Division and is modeled on Wakayama Prefecture's rich forests. Two birds, Kodama-chan and Yamabiko-chan, are also present. Kinopy's job is to protect and nurture Wakayama Prefecture's rich forests and nature, and Kinopy appears at events such as tree-planting festivals.
