Kacchan, Kappapark Saginuma’s image character, is a first-grade elementary school student created together with the newly completed Kappapark Saginuma facility. Since there used to be a swimming pool at Kappapark Saginuma, Kacchan is modeled on a kappa, embodying the wish that it will become a place where kappas can live forever. Kacchan appears at events in the ward, with swimming as a special skill.
