Togane City mascot character Tocchi. This character was created after being selected from entries submitted in advance of the city's 60th anniversary in Heisei 26. Tocchi was born and raised at Hakkaku Lake, a famous cherry-blossom-viewing spot. Cherry petals are designed on Tocchi's cheeks, hands, and feet, and the city emblem appears on the stomach. Tocchi loves Togane City's nature and visits various events to help more people learn about the city's attractions.
