Kinokawa City Tourism Association fruit characters, the Kinokawa Purupuru Girls. Inspired by fruits commonly harvested in Kinokawa City, they were created after being selected from more than 3,000 entries. The six members—Sakupuru for hassaku, Ichigoppuru for strawberries, Kiupuru for kiwifruit, Jikupuru for figs, Kakipuru for persimmons, and Momopuru for peaches—promote attractive Kinokawa City.
