Shōnosuke, the public-relations character of the Shōnandai Shopping District Federation, is a male guard dog unveiled in August 2015. Created with a black Shiba Inu as its motif to invigorate Shōnandai, he aims to become “Shōnandai’s okappiki” in the future. He will be active in Shōnandai, Fujisawa City, and elsewhere, with watching period dramas as his hobby.
